Dear Parents:
The hum of production has
been heard throughout the third grade hallway this week. The children have been working hard on
creating their products for Tuckahoe Town, and figuring out how to stay on
budget. We have taken the
opportunity to learn about how to keep a check register and write checks in
Math. In addition, we have been
continuing with our regular learning as well. The children have been reviewing
concepts they learned this year by playing a variety of math games during the
week. They also took an end of the
year pop quiz on Thursday. In
Language Arts, they completed their end of the year writing prompt, continued
with their cursive handwriting, and grammar practice. We have also taken the opportunity to learn about healthy
foods during Reading. As you can
see, the learning continues.
