Dear Parents:
What
a lovely week it has been! The children have really enjoyed being able to get
outside and enjoy the spring weather after such a long winter. Wednesday was an added bonus of playing
Capture the Flag on the field during PE.
Let’s hope the good weather is here to stay!
As
you know we have wrapped up three units of study this week. While I know it has been a lot of
studying, I am very proud of the job the children have done to get this all
behind them prior to Spring Break.
Now we can all come back refreshed and ready to take on the next few
months of school. With that said,
when we return we will be immersing ourselves in the study of soils,
government, economics, geometry, probability, poetry and more grammar. We will also have some review of
material prior to the SOL tests in May.
Please be on the lookout for these materials in the coming weeks.
I
hope everyone enjoys Spring Break and the more relaxed schedule. Here is to safe travels and enjoyable
time together. I look forward to
hearing about all the various activities upon our return on April 21st.
